John Cavalli has served in the role as a senior manager for over 30 years in support of client goals and objectives, for numerous studies involving integrated program evaluation, load research, end-use market assessment and studies designed to improve program processes and performance. In conducting this work, he has managed an array of studies for a diverse set of programs targeting prescriptive retrofits, custom projects, new construction, load management and audit programs. These studies also address all market segments, including residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers, and all major end uses that cross those segments. Since 2010 Mr. Cavalli has focused on energy efficiency program evaluation work in California for the CPUC, including management of annual impact evaluations and targeted market studies for both deemed and custom offerings. While conducting these studies he brings expert knowledge and experience surrounding project planning, sampling, baseline assessment, statistical modeling, and measuring and quantifying net program benefits, and has a proven track record as a staff and client manager. Mr. Cavalli is well respected and acknowledged for his ability to complete quality products on-time and to the exacting standards that are expected by each client and downstream users of the reports and other products he completes.
Mr. Cavalli holds an M.S. and B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley.
John has a daughter and son that are both attending college, a home in the San Francisco Bay Area, and in addition to work, keeps busy traveling the world, socializing with friends and trying to perfect his barrel-aged Manhattans.
