Alex Trueblood has over 15 years of consulting experience in the energy industry including 10 years of experience in building system design and commissioning. He has implemented and evaluated energy projects for various clients including U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), and conducted market assessments for major utilities and utility commissions across the U.S. He has acted as lead designer on mechanical and plumbing renovation projects and performed new construction commissioning and existing building retro-commissioning on HVAC and process control for projects in the commercial and industrial sectors.

Alex is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from San Francisco State University.  

Alex and his wife have a dog in their home in North County San Diego. He enjoys painting, drawing, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and hiking the local areas.
