Quantum is a small, collaborative consulting firm working on some of the more interesting problems in energy and sustainability.
Our work brings together data science, engineering, market research, and policy. One project might involve analyzing large energy-use datasets; another might require developing a new way to evaluate an emerging technology or answering a difficult question for a utility or public agency. The problems change, and we like that.
Because we are a small team, people at Quantum have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways. We work closely with one another, share ideas freely, and value people who are curious, thoughtful, and willing to dig into a problem until they understand it.

We are currently looking for a Data Scientist to join our team.
We are interested in someone who enjoys working with real-world data and using statistical, computational, and analytical methods to answer difficult questions. The role will support a range of energy and sustainability projects and will involve working closely with our data scientists, engineers, and researchers.
