Emily Shackleton is a mechanical engineer with over six years of experience in energy consulting. She has a broad background in the industry, including fieldwork, data analysis, energy modeling, and technical support. Emily has worked with commercial, residential, and industrial clients, assessing a wide range of technologies and efficiency opportunities. She is currently leading efforts for establishing new tools that can be used to evaluate heat pump water heaters.

She earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Olin College of Engineering.

An unapologetic cat lover, Emily currently lives in Massachusetts with one cat (for now). She loves anything outdoors—especially running with friends—and has traveled to six of the seven continents, with plans to reach the last (Australia) as soon as she can.
